I recently read a book which made me think of something. The ability to see back through time. Say, for arguments sake, there was an alien with a super powerful telescope 100 light years away, looking at earth right now. Because of the speed at which light travels, would he be looking at what happened 100 years ago on earth??


Its like how we look at stars 1000's of lightyears away. By the time the light of the star hits earth, those stars would have died years ago...


Theoretically, if humans could develop the technology, we could send telescopes out into space, and be having them send back images from the past earth, couldn't we??

Just my speculations... i want to know what you think.

not really. it would be like some epic way to stop criminals??
by being physically able to transfer videos and magikarp from the past...

and not from thousands of years, more like a couple of days or or weeks. You would be able to control when footage would be recorded by how long away it is in relation to the earth.
