| Discworld.
Terry Pratchett is my idol.
ALSO, I rather enjoy Diana Wynne Jones' books too, like Howl's Moving Castle.
Brian Jacques has an awesome fantasy series as well.

| Fantasy all the way. Thats not to say I don't enjoy sci-fi but fantasy is just more fun.
Favourite authors at the moment would be: -Peter Brett -Jim Butcher
And some other ones but I cant remember. I tend to just find one good author and then follow their books till I find osmeone new...as I'm sure a lot of people do.
OH! And H.P. Lovecraft! Cthulhu is love

| Oh yes. That makes it epic. Horror books are pretty good too....if they're written well, some of them really blow | |

| A good book to me consists of originality, an addictive writing style, and well thought out characters. Nothing irritates me more than when characters act out of character without adequate explanation. | |

| I don't have a preference between fantasy or science fiction, because I agree with Pizza - it depends on how well-written the book is, so both can either be amazing epics or so horrible they're not worth the paper they're printed on. | |
