Instant Noodles

I was brought up for year loving instant noodles. Nothing more than the flavour sachet and hot water. Loved them.

Then I met Ramen and I fell in love all over again. The noodles were thincker and just generally nicer. It lended itself better to extra flavouring and other additives.

Now I've just made a bowl of instant noodles, chicken flavour.

I only realised that chicken flavour is really weak and just not very nice. So I added some beef stock, soy sauce, worchester sauce and hot curry powder.

If I'd put that with ramen it would have worked. The soup tastes great but the noodles don't absorb right.

Oh instant noodles. Thou art dead to me.

Instant noodles + water, veges & cayenne pepper in a pot = OMGYUM.
Recently perfected the technique (yes, I fail so hard at cooking I have ruined this simple meal before) and now I can't live without them.

I usually boil some carrots with the water, add some mince, beans and onions. Leave them for a while till they're soft and add the noodles, then when it's about boiling I crack a couple of eggs into it. Yum Noodles are Yum.

me and my sister got a random selection of noodles from the international section in a super market and the german stuff is great!!!

German instant noodles? Sounds interesting...is it made out of blood by any chance? It is german after all

i used to do that... eat them raw and sprinkle the flavouring over the top...

this was before i was introduced to mi goreng though.

lol, the house is practically a store for indonesian imports , i eat more of my native food here theese days then when i'm back home

its just because mi goreng is very good
