Well that's interesting. We'll never know if his claim was true or not, which I suppose was inevitable if it was true.

I don't think fweaks really was lightning rod. From my role, I can guess this game is going to be considerably standard.

In addition, there really isn't much to go on from the night story.
My only guess (and it's a stretch) is that we figure out from who's point of view the night story was from. If it's from mod/bystanders point of view then cool story, so for the sake of having some content, I'd guess it was from fweaks point of view which means he saw the mafia talking. He's also said "... before I blow you away" which implies he knows something. So my guess is that fweaks was a cop. Given fweaks is fweaks, I'd guess that he'd have targeted one of Telestomp, Thee_Slushee, myself or Happy. If you think different please say something, we are really low on options here.

Because of my plain role, I decided I'll do something a little interesting this night phase. I watched the "Logged in, in the last 24 hours" thing on the forum and saw fweaks, Happy, Hiroshi, Just Tundra, orange, myself and Thee_Slushee had all logged in over night. So I'm going to rule out Telestomp as a townie night action role. I'm not ruling out Skrillaka since they live together and could had had communication without forum. The reason I'm not ruling Telestomp out as a non townie night action role, is because mafia usually communicate with mod outside the forum.

This really hasn't been helpful at all, but it's really all I can see to go on at this point :S

Yeah I don't think he was either. The mafia probably just thought it would be funny to kill him on the first night because of that claim.

I see your point about it being all you can see to go on, but seeing as there are plain townies the fact that Telestomp doesn't have a townie night action doesn't mean he's mafia.

Actually, you're right. If someone claims to be lightning rod then they're pretty much a free kill without raising suspicion. Sucks to be fweaks I suppose.
Anyway, I'd like to see more stuff happen so we have more to go on so I'll reserve my lynch vote until my vote could make the majority.

There could be multiple reasons for checking in during night phase though. I actually have the mafia page up most of the time while I'm at work! Plus, I compulsively check the forum in case I missed an email notification. So I'm pretty much logged in all the time!
It is good food for thought though, since we really have nothing to go on...

Think fweaks would've given away information in a QQ post? It's always been a big thing (with his games anyway) that you're not supposed to give any sort of information away. I also log in all the time thats basically why I'm only ruling out 1 person and only that its as above.

The "fweaks wouldn't possibly make a slip" as a counter argument is pretty weak. And the fact you are even fighting my weak assertion with an even weaker reasoning is really scummy... You post is amazing indecisive. Trying to appeal to me without agreeing. Trying to say fweaks wouldn't do that and that its not allowed while still saying its possible... The whole post is amazingly fishy.

My impression is night story is from mod view, given for the other stories he's been cabbage-mad as well. Unless everyone is cabbage vendor. But yanno occam's razor here
So I guess there's no info there that jonno could've given us.. not that it would've mattered at this point, I guess :<

The real concern is, if jonno was lightning rod (I don't quite buy it but we're all in agreement that there's nothing much right now xD), the implication is we receive almost no details in the night story, right? He could've gotten cop-stalked, role-blocked and mauled by a bear, but all we see is the morning after. Which means a very heavy reliance on power roles receiving private information o: I don't mind but if for example, the only person who manages to nab any lead at night, is the one killed in the morning.. this could be tough hahaa
Of course, chances are jonno wasn't lightning rod, but I suspect geoff's night style really is minimalist *__* So same issue, in the end.

So first off all, have had a pretty hectic weekend so haven't had much of a chance to check the site and see whats going on.
Now that I am here however, looks like it is time for a brain dump...
1) day 0, Michael kicks us off with a instant lynch fweaks call, next morning... boom... dead, not saying that he did it necessarily, but with that kind of post already made, and jonno's own claim of lightning rod, looks like he was an easy target.
2) Day 1 Michael makes multiple lynch votes on minimal evidence against my self and slushee, not necessarily dodgy but definitely looks like he has an itchy trigger finger, and wants people dead.
3) In response to Michael's lynch attempt, I have never claimed to be Vanilla, but I will say I have a night action and it would be good to keep me around.
4) Following on from the above point, on a more hard evidence kind of note, I have received information about Chanisha, not entirely sure what her overall role is, but it looks to be a leader in an underground church, some kind of cult or something. Dunno what this means, but not vanilla townie, thats for sure, and as far as I am concerned, cults have never been a good thing.

Take from this what you will, but my suspicion currently lies with Hawk and Slush, will hold out on a lynch vote for now, at least until I have heard their point of view.
