Major Mafia Game Reservations

I.. I'd like to b.. book in a cult game... If that's Ok...

The idea is this: mafia is a cult leader. Each night this person chooses another person to join the cult. During the day lynches are as normal. Game over when either side is dead.

I'm going to also give every player a power role, but they are lost once they join the cult. I'm also going to chuck in a surprise theme. And don't worry, I'll give night stories and the like this time...

Game is ideal for maximum player size but everything scales so should be fun with any number.

I've never modded a game before, but I have an idea I think could be interesting. Can I book the game after Happy's?

Book me in for a game. I'd like 6-8 people.

I don't really want to discuss the modding details for a couple reasons:

1. Night 1 will be a surprise.
2. I can make things up as I go along.
3. I want it to be somewhat closed while I/the players slowly reveal the system.

I really do want to discuss more, but it will be much more fun if I don't.

Should I create a sign up thread now?
It's 6-8 players but it's not C9 so does it go minor or major games?


Also, would Hiroshi still be keen to do his game? I'm happy to play that first if so.

I'd say just go ahead and create a sign up thread. Advertise it in the old game thread so people get email bumps.
How many players are you expecting? It's a pretty small forum and not everyone shows up to a game.
Be warned that modding (well) isn't easy. It can be quite demanding. One stuff up could throw the whole game.

And you are allowed to say what the game roles/layout is going to be. It adds a layer of information to the game ( which might have been helpful in the last one *coughcough* )

Will do but yeah I think 6 would be about the minimum. If we don't get the numbers then Skillaka can take the reins.

I haven't prepared anything yet, so I won't be able to take over if your game doesn't get off the ground.

I'd be happy enough to mod another game of 8 or so. I'll register my interest for after Skrillaka's game.

I hope Slushee and Happy don't want to mod... Haha.

I'm keen to run a 5 player deathy game at some point if the numbers dwindle. That can just be whenever though.

What's a deathy game?

Dethy is a game type involving cop sanities. It plays in a very specific way, unlike most mafia game types.
